Barbara Aliprantis presents "A Greek Grows In Brooklyn". She was born in Greece, raised in Brooklyn, and now resides in Natick, MA. Her recognition includes the 2018 NEST Brother Blue and Ruth Hill Award, the NSN Oracle Award, and a New York City Hall Award for her support of Multi-Cultural and Immigrant folklore. Sara deBeer will share folktales on the theme “Searching for Safety”. The program will include an Eastern European Jewish tale and one from the Xhosa people of South Africa.
